Participants : MVP, Christian, Evan Bourne, Kane, Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin, Jack Swagger and Matt Hardy
This is usually the Wrestlemania Opener. CM Punk already won two Money in the Bank matches and successfully won titles after casting it.
I'm betting on Christian to win this one so he can get the push and finally main event ppvs. Matt Hardy's very likeable but he's not a champion material. Past winners of Money in the bank successfully won titles after casting it so there is no doubt that if Christian wins this one, we'll expect him to win either of the heavyweight championships this year.
Finally, Triple H won't be headlining Wrestlemania, although we still have to see Cena and Batista on the main event. Sheamus is getting the big push as he already won the WWE Championship from John Cena.
However i have a feeling that HHH will still win this one due to the nature of Wrestlemania having babyfaces winning most of the matches.
The Miz is one of the best WWE superstars today that has mic skills, and having team with The Big Show will give him more time for a bigger push. However, it could be the time for R-Truth to hold a title.
Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk ( Unofficial )
Not expecting much from this one but could be a good match for high flyer Mysterio and interference from Punk's straight edge stable members. Doesn't matter who wins.
Randy Orton saved the WWE Fans from John Cena. He stood up when the time came that we
had enough of Triple H, HBK and John Cena as WWE's top babyfaces. He formed Legacy as all members are third generation superstars. Ted and Cody helped Randy win numerous titles and as what we should expect, every tag team or stable started and ended with both members facing each other in the end. Ted Dibiase and Cody should win this one, and will surely help Ted to get the same push that Orton got.
Our very own Batista just turned Heel, but he's the WWE Champion and he is facing none other than, John Cena! Booo! I don't think this could be a good match for the two, unlikely matchup for me.
There was a rumor of having Batista team with Vince McMahon and face Bret Hart and John Cena with the title on the line, having the person who got the pin wins the championship. That was the other plan in case Bret Hart is not confident with his physical condition.
Oh well, Cena might win this one and start another feud with new superstars. Ted Dibiase?
After returning and winning the Royal Rumble, Edge chose Jericho to face him instead of the Raw Brand's Champion. This two were former unified tag team championships until Jericho badmouthed Edge after he got injured.
This could be a potential good match as Edge has once again wrestles as a babyface. The Rated R Superstar should win!
This is the highlight of the night. Shawn Michaels tried desperately to have this match. This is the earliest Wrestlemania 26 build up match, started when HBK challenged Taker during the Slammy's. HBK then cost the Deadman the championship at elimination chamber when out of nowhere he delivered the Sweet Chin Music to the Undertaker.
I am on Undertaker receiving his Hall of Fame award with additional remarks, undefeated at Wrestlemania. News from wrestling sites confirmed that HBK is taking time off again after Wrestlemania same from last year but this time, there is no definite date for his comeback. Rumors has it that HBK will be back in time for his retirement match at Wrestlemania 27. The Undertaker is also rumored to be retiring soon.
Now here's another reason why Wrestlemania 26 will be one of the best, Bret Hart returns to get his revenge on VInce McMahon.
Started with Montreal Screw Job, when Bret is about to leave WWE for WCW, Vince screwed him having feared that he won't surrender the title.
Bret guest hosted the first WWE RAW of 2010, and got a huge pop. He called Shawn Michaels and they had one of the best unscripted conversation in ring. At the end of the show, Bret confronted Vince and when he thought that they've already settled their issues, Vince kicked him in the guts.
Bret continued to appear on WWE RAW as he signed a rumored short term deal, probably until after Wrestlemania 26. WWE is considering his condition as he already had stroke before and concussions brought by Goldberg. GOLDBERG SCREWED ONE OF THE BEST WRESTLERS IN THE INDUSTRY. We're not sure if it's an accident or not, but he was the one responsible why Bret retired.
John Cena helped brought Bret back after Vince banned him again on the WWE. Also resulted to a car hit storyline in which The Hitman suffered broken leg. Next week, Stone Cold is going to guest host Raw and foresee the contract signing between the Chairman and The Hitman. We could assume that he would insert himself as the special guest referee for the match.
Everyone is excited to see The Excellence of Execution applying the Sharpshooter on the Chairman and perhaps a Stone Cold Stunner and Beer Drinking with the Hitman!
How i wish i'll be on the front row. :(
